In my browsing this week, I came across this FANTASTIC looking simulator (Japanese) that uses real cab video footage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiYXx5VwUn0

This simulator has existed for some time now, however earlier released routes have been of much lower quality video footage. 

The latest release seems to feature 720p 60 fps video, which I think would pass as a enjoyable simulation experience on the small screen. All routes are posted out on DVDs, mentioned on the order page, 'sim form'.  http://sylph.lib.net/trainsim/sim_form.html

I am indeed VERY keen to order the latest release, however the website seems to only promote sales and postage within Japan. 

Hopefully I am able to get in contact with the website owner and get a copy sent to me!

I think it works out to be about AU $20 plus postage (what ever that would be).
