We have some walls!

A bit of work has been done in the last week or so, in between family life and work.

The Aluminium rails that run at an upwards angle from the windscreen panel will be the mounting point for the 'ceiling'. Cab lighting will be installed in this ceiling section, controlled from the console of course.

I'm really liking the white 'gloss' finish. I will paint the walls and ceiling with this too.

Hood is now much easier to open now, thanks to the 'flush pull ring' handle.

I acquired these wonderful Tasmanian Oak internal doors off Gumtree. I paid $10 for 6 doors :) PERFECT for my cab walls! Winning.

Panels (front and side) to be added underneath the controls, to define the footwell.

After adding the panels, I will build the foot pressure switch. (Vigilance)

Under the hood ;) Rather unimpressive at the moment.

I plan to add an air conditioning unit in this cavity at a later date. Will definitely need some form of airflow.

I still need to source 2 'jet air' diffusers which will be installed just below the front window sill.

A lot of these materials (namely the MDF and Metal) have been so generously donated by some work colleagues who are following my progress.

I don't think any of them have witnessed a project quite like this! Unique.
